Wendy Hamon joined Simbec-Orion as VP, Clinical Development, providing oversight of Global Clinical Operations and Project Management with over 27 years of industry experience. Wendy has both sponsor experience as well as CRO experience providing management and oversight of Ph I-IV global clinical trials delivery for the biotech/biopharma sector as well as Top 10 pharma, ensuring operational excellence by applying Six Sigma principles.

She specialises in cultivating and maintaining high performance teams,proactive risk mitigation, ensuring fiscal health and adherence, and exceeding client expectations. Complex oncology and rare diseases are two of many therapeutic areas of expertise over Wendy’s career, but are those about which she is most passionate, due to unmet patient need. Wendy resides on the Senior Leadership Team at Simbec-Orion where she most appreciates the opportunity to collaborate across the business to enhance processes and liaise with leaders to cultivate best-in-class delivery models.​
