Mark Trus

Chief Financial Officer

Mark is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience across the life sciences, consumer goods, and technology sectors. He currently serves Simbec-Orion as Chief Financial Officer, bringing a strong track record of strategic leadership and operational excellence.

Before his current role, Mark served as CFO at CROs including Ora Inc, focused on ophthalmic research, and Veristat. He also provided consulting services, leveraging his expertise in finance, IT, and program management to support business transformation and performance improvement.

Earlier in his career, Mark spent 10 years at Unilever in a range of finance roles, followed by executive positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific. There, he served as VP of Global Business Services and VP of Finance & Strategy, leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and supporting global IT strategy and operations.
