Simon Jennings, Vice President, Data Science​ at Simbec-Orion

Simon has over 35 years in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry comprising a variety of global leadership roles in Biostatistics, Data Management, Statistical Programming and Biometrics Project Management covering all phases of clinical research in Glaxo, Celltech, Eisai, Sandoz/Novartis and ICON. ​

He has extensive experience as a Statistician working in early phase(HV and proof of concept patient studies, rare diseases), Oncology,Dermatology, Cardiovascular Disease, Autoimmune Disorders,Transplantation, Infectious Diseases and has led Biometrics activities forworldwide regulatory submissions including FDA, EMA and JapanesePMDA.  ​

Simon’s passion is to use data and statistical techniques to supportdecision-making not only within scientific clinical development programsbut also across business operations to identify opportunities to enhanceproductivity and quality.   ​
