Richard Stickley Head of Data Management at Simbec-Orion

Head of Data Management, Richard joined Simbec-Orion in 2015. Richard has over 14 years’ experience in Clinical Data Management, with extensive experience in the data management of studies across phases I-IV in various indications, including oncology and cardiovascular.

Richard has experience leading teams on both small and large EDC and paper studies using a variety of different systems. With experience from both sides of the industry, he has extensive experience in all activities relating to study set up; CRF Design/Specification, Edit Check and Listing Specification, Database Validation, External data set-up and reconciliation, and Database Close Activities, and communicating resource needs for small data management stand-alone studies as well as large full-service global trials.

Richard is also a trained EDC Designer, and his knowledge of database design and study start-up procedures can be utilised to fulfil sponsor requirements in building a quality database.
